Excuse me, Sir? Ma’am?

It’s time for your kamakazie parrot wake up call.

At 7:14 this morning, Burfit and Durdlin were sleeping peacefully in their bed.
At 7:15 this morning, Burfit and Durdlin were no longer sleeping peacefully in their bed.
In shock, they were looking at the broken glass on the other side of their bedroom. Turning to each other in disbelief, Durdlin started to say something but she was interrupted by more glass breaking.

She bravely got dressed and put some shoes on so she could investigate. There weren’t any rocks on the carpet or in fact any sign of what/who might have caused the breakage (but she kept her head away from the window just in case). On first inspection it looked as though the window has just… exploded. But windows don’t just explode, do they?

Durdlin decided to have a look at the broken window from outside to see if that provided any more clues. And there was one very big clue: A dirty great big parrot – on the ground – dead – a meter or so away from the broken glass.

Parrot not shown.

I will never complain about not having much to blog about again.

Actually I probably will. I just hope no birds feel the need to sacrifice themselves for the cause.
