In which a summer storm is faster than durdlin’s bus home

When I left the Brisbane CBD this afternoon at around 4.50pm, the sky to the south/south east looked pretty serious.

But by the time I got to my bus stop, the storm was ahead of me, almost due north. I hardly even got rained on when I walked home. What gives?

  1. I was lucky to out-drive it! Poor coastal area! I thought we were in for a flogging for sure.. I turn into the biggest, most wussy girl when it gets like that.
